RCIA: Christian Initiation for Adults
Becoming Catholic & Adult Sacraments
Jesus said "I came that they might have life and have it to the full," (Jn 10:10). The more we are united to Him - made possible through His Church and the sacraments - the more He makes us fully alive.
If you (A) are interested in this abundant Catholic life, (B) want to complete your sacraments, or (C) wish to learn more about our rich Catholic Faith, join us for RCIA on Sundays after the 10:30am Mass starting Sep 13th.
From incense to the Incarnation, cassocks to the Second Coming, we'll unpack it all!
STARTING NOV. 1: Faith Formation
Our new Evangelization and Discipleship structure allows us to partner with parents so our homes grow as the ‘domestic churches’ they’re called to be. We’re excited to see what God has planned for our parish!
FOR ELEMENTARY KIDS: Our three new flexible models (Home-Based, Study Hall, and Classroom) allow parents to lead their child with ample support from the parish. The Classroom Model meets on Mondays from 5:30-7pm, and the parish is open Thursday afternoons for Study Hall.
FOR TEENS: Our youth group, called 4:12 after 1st Timothy 4:12, meets Thursdays from 6-8:30pm and is centered on helping our teens to be the saints God is calling them to be. Classes for teens needing sacraments are offered on Mondays (5:30-7pm) while their parents participate in a formation program that suits them.
Infant and Child Baptisms
"Let the children come to me" (Mk. 10:14) Jesus said. We'd be thrilled to help you prepare to baptize your little one! For parents and godparents of infants to those under the age of 7-years-old, we hold our baptism class every other 1st Saturday at 10am and baptisms occur at the last Mass of each month. (For those seven and older, enroll in Faith Formation or RCIA.) Contact parish office to get started!
Adult Evangelization and Discipleship
"Learn from me" (Mt. 11:29) our Lord told His disciples. We have many opportunities for adults to grow in their Faith, and our list of options is steadily growing!
Catholic Assumptions (Stop Assuming, Start Learning): First Thursdays at 7pm beginning November; follows Thursday Adoration, Vespers, and Confession at 6pm.
RCIA: To borrow from St. Jerome, Catholicism is a river gentle enough for a babe to wade and deep enough for an elephant to swim. No matter where you are in your faith, this is for you! See above for more.
Bible studies and Faith-Sharing groups: Want to build up your Catholic Community? Join one!
Catholic Book Clubs (led by Fr. Nick Larkin): keep up with Flocknote to learn about the next!
