Happy Masks

Keeping our community

"[T]here should be no division in the body...its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." (1st Corinthians 12:25-27)

We are working hard to make things as easy for families as possible. There are many things demanding your attention; coming to the Lord should be the simplest.

  • Our schedule (November to May) allows you to settle into your school routine before Faith Formation starts

  • Family models allow you to pick what best fits you

  • Ample support is provided in all models - we got you!

  • Every child and catechist receives their own Catechism Kit (CateKit) with all the supplies and materials they need; for example, a Beginning Disciple receives:

    • a Catholic Children's Bible

    • a Kid Booklet & Parent Folder per semester

    • a pencil pouch with pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, a sharpie, scissors, stickers, a pencil sharpener, hand wipes, and a glue stick

  • CateKits give families flexibility to switch between models if needed on any given week due to illness or scheduling conflicts, as well as give the child personal materials to eliminate communal supplies

Special Precautions for In-Person Learning

  • Classes will be held outdoors as much as possible, and social distancing will be observed.

  • Temperature checks will be taken at the door. Anyone registering above 99°F will be asked to return home.

  • Parents and kids 4-years-old and up are to bring and wear a mask. Catechists are provided a face-shield.

  • Each classroom has an air purifier, and windows will remain open to increase fresh air circulation.

  • Sanitation Stations are located at the entrance of school doors as well as classrooms. All will sanitize hands upon entering and leaving classrooms.

  • In accordance with CDC guidelines, stay home if your child is sick, might've been exposed to COVID, or has a sore throat, new uncontrolled cough, difficulty breathing, severe headache, temp of 99°F or higher, flu symptoms, or even mild cold symptoms.

  • If anyone in your household tests positive, tell us ASAP.

  • If an attendee tests positive, we'll notify their class and they will all switch to Home-Based learning for 14 days since the onset of symptoms or positive test result.

*This plan is subject to change based on guidance from the CDC,

the Archdiocese of Denver, and the Tri-County Health Department.
