The Food

Bank

Our food bank is open on Wednesdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm. We are dedicated to assisting anyone in our community who is in need.

We accept donations of non-perishable, non-expired food items, as well as toiletries and other personal hygiene products. Donations of $10-$25 gas or grocery gift cards are also accepted.  Regarding perishable food donations, please first call the parish office before bringing them.

Holy Communion for the Homebound

Because of illness or old age, some parishioners cannot regularly participate in Mass. In order to ensure they continue to be nourished with the Most Holy Eucharist lay extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion bring them the Blessed Sacrament on an agreed upon recurring basis.

If you or someone you know would like to serve as an Extraordinary Minister to the homebound, or are homebound person yourself and seeking Holy Communion please call the parish office and speak with Sandy Howard.

Extraordinary Ministers

of Holy Communion

Priests and deacons in virtue of their Ordination are Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. It remains one of the primary tasks of their vocation. But when there is a genuine need the pastor at his discretion can delegate lay faithful to assist him in the distribution of Holy Communion as extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion. These individuals besides distributing the Eucharist at Mass can bring the Blessed Sacrament to the homebound and sick as well. Please call Sandy Howard in the parish office if you are interested to set up a meeting with the pastor for an interview for this role.
