ABOUT US

We are saints in the making

As a Catholic school, Jesus Christ is at the center of everything we do. We strive to form intentional disciples who are saints in the making. Our goal is college and heaven. Daily prayer in class and as a school community strengthens us in this mission. Our students learn from the depths of the Catholic intellectual tradition to grow not only in knowledge but in wisdom as they are formed in truth and virtue. The Eucharist remains the center of our school life, both in the Mass and in weekly Adoration. Regular celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Rosary, and other Catholic devotions help us keep our faith at the heart of all we do.

Our school is a sacred space where all are loved and cherished.

Students at Assumption are recognized as individuals within a family environment. We strongly encourage parental involvement throughout all facets of the student experiences. We promote mentoring academic cooperation throughout the school with a faith families program, and a bonding opportunity in our faith formation in our weekly Mass buddy system. It is a beautiful extension of our community faith family for both the younger children and establishing a responsibility for our faith in our older students

We are always learning

Most classes have 15 students, so students receive individual attention, promoting an intimate learning environment. Enrollment capacity allows for 20 students in each class, which we rarely increase, and only if to allow an entire family to enroll. All teachers are state licensed and require religious certification through the Archdiocese of Denver which promotes excellent standardized test scores. Field trips are also an integral part of our curriculum, providing students with a multitude of experiences and exposure to opportunities in which they may not have otherwise been able to participate. 97% of Catholic School graduates go on to college. Investing in a Catholic education has long-lasting benefits!
