bout us
The parish, consecrated to Our Lady of the Assumption, takes two Marian apostles as it’s secondary patrons: Saint John the Evangelist, who was entrusted to care for the Blessed Mother from the Cross to Her glorious Assumption, and Saint Maximilian Kolbe, who died on the vigil of the Feast of the Assumption, and robustly brought souls to Jesus through Mary.
Our
Mission
Under the patronage of
Our Lady of the Assumption, we seek to imitate Her obedience and love for God through worship, teaching, and acts of mercy so that all may come to know Christ and do His holy will.
Our
Community
"And they devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and fellowship to the Breaking of the Bread and the prayers"
-Acts. 2:42

Pillar 1:
Teaching
Our mission is to support parents in their vocation as primary educators of their children and help families grow in a school of holiness.
We help adults know and joyfully live the fullness of our Catholic faith so that amidst a secular world they can bear witness to Christ and the beauty of holiness.
We call all to abandon the spirit of mediocrity and magnanimously respond to our Baptismal vocation to become saints.

Pillar 2:
Fellowship
Every summer we put on our Parish Bazaar which includes raffles, prizes, and delicious food and drink.
Celebrating the Italian heritage that founded our parish, each year we host a Spaghetti Dinner.
In addition, we host our annual Thanksgiving Lunch; Saint Nicholas Celebration, Mardi Gras Party, and Lenten Fish Dinners.
Throughout the year there are oppurtunities to join small small groups, and seek to draw all to a fruitful and edifying Catholic community.
Join our parish!

Pillar 3:
Breaking Bread
Each Sunday we assemble for the for the Solemn Celebration of the Eucharist. Incense is regularly used at the 8:30am and 10:30am Sunday Mass an on solemnities and feasts. Vigil Masses are always incense free.
We celebrate reverent and dignified Funeral Rites to pray for the deceased of our community and to remember the holy souls in purgatory.
We form engaged couples in the truths of our faith so that they can have a strong, lasting, and holy marriage.

Pillar 4:
Prayers
20 minutes before every Mass at Assumption we gather to pray the Holy Rosary.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays we come throughout the day and night to adore Our Eucharistic Lord.
On Saturday afternoons we gather for Vespers and Benediction to usher in our celebration of the Lord's Day.
